Game demos

Play the games I've been building.

Free browser demos, with a build post for each one explaining what I made, what I used and the details that matter when you play.

Newest public releases first. Dates below are the first publication of each demo here.

A paper plane flying through Cloudhop's forest course

Published · Free browser demo

Cloudhop

Fly a paper plane through ten worlds, retry a seeded course and chase your best score. Play solo or take turns with friends on the same device.

Three.js · JavaScript · Keyboard, touch and controller · WebGL 2 required

Grow Word with a completed word, a picture and its tappable alphabet

Published · Free browser demo

Grow Word

A letter and word game I built for Arthur, my four-year-old, who loves his ABCs. Tap letters, hear words and explore a garden at your own pace.

HTML, CSS and JavaScript · Saved Kokoro speech · Touch and mouse

Playing and saving

Both games run on your device without an account or subscription. Scores and progress save in the browser you're using. Clearing its data removes those records.

Grow Word has no shared scoreboard. Cloudhop has local and global leaderboards, plus course codes you can share. Use a nickname for shared scores. If the global board reaches its free allowance, it pauses while local play and scores keep working.

Cloudhop needs WebGL 2. Try its low detail setting if your device struggles with the 3D world.
